What a great experience me and my wife went into Rita and saw Shan we told him what we were looking for and right away he took us to the Area and started showing and explaining the difference in the rugs and ask if we would like to that two or three rugs home with us but we found the one that we bought love it's handmade Knotted Ariel rug.

The huge piles of rugs can seem daunting when you first walk in, but the attentive salesmen will quickly show you a focused selection to fit your desired rug size, style and budget. They have everything from contemporary machine-made rugs for a couple hundred dollars to traditional handmade rugs in the thousands of dollars, and the salesmen consistently offer prices much less than what is printed on the tags.

If you're trying to fill an unusually-sized space, they have a selection of rugs that can be custom-ordered in the size you need. Last year my partner and I moved to a new place and bought two rugs from this store that immediately became our favorite objects in the house. Today, we came back and bought two more rugs. Next time we need a new rug we will certainly return.

In my 60 years of shopping for quality rugs, I have placed Rita Rugs at the top of my list for quality, service and price. I have brought home rugs from Egypt that came close in quality to the rugs I have experienced at Rita Rug. The elderly salesman my wife and I dealt with was patient, knowledgeable, and seemed to know what we were looking for. After discussing colors and sizes, he patiently went through numerous samples for us.

Our final choice is the highest quality rug I have personally bought in my 72 years of life. After installation, it truly transformed our living room into a showplace that could have been in any designer magazine. I know where we will be going for our next rug purchases. RITA RUGS!

Rita has a large selection of area rugs which was very helpful not knowing what exactly we wanted before purchasing. Plus, they do a great job of explaining options and differences in the various rugs. We bought an area rug for our living room and are very pleased with it.

He'll teach you how to spot quality and even bring the rug to you to see it in your space prior to purchase. Great service, great guy! We just purchased a new rug to go under my piano. We were on a tight timeline bc of the scheduled piano move, and Shan did everything possible to make our rug purchase easy, enjoyable, and safe. He has an amazing selection of beautiful handmade rugs, and he was very helpful, quickly identifying our needs and offering some wonderful choices to try out. We will certainly be returning to Rita!

I stopped in to browse rugs yesterday. I knew the approximate size and color, but not exactly. Dileeb was extremely helpful in helping me come up with the correct size and color combination. Dileeb was very knowledgable and was able to easily navigate through all of the rugs to find the perfect one. I was told to try the rug at home, should I need another or different rug, all I had to to was call.

I brought the rug home, somewhat skeptical. Upon placing it in my living room I immediately knew that Dileeb was correct in his advice and helpful selection. The price was a bit more than I anticipated spending but that doesn't matter because it is absolutely perfect! Extremely happy, thanks Dileeb and Rita Oriental Rugs couldn't be more pleased. BTW, no hard sales pressure at all.

I went into Rita's looking for a rug for my living room. I was immediately approached by Shan and his assistant. Both were eager to assist me. They went right to the pile of rugs they thought would be of most interest to me. I showed them what my living room looks like and they offered suggestions to me. Shan has very good taste. I had been looking for a 9'x12' oriental rug and matching runner, for several weeks. When I visited Rita Oriental Rugs; Dileep was patient and helpful; I was particularly taken with the range and quality of the rugs in inventory. I described what I was looking for and Dileep, who must have a photographic memory for where each rug is in the store, told me he knew exactly the rug that I was describing, and he dug deep into a tall pile of rugs, and pulled out a rug that was exactly what I was looking for.

Cost is an important consideration but Dileep arranged for a very fair price. He and his assistant delivered two rugs to my home that very week. The rugs are perfect.!The customer service and quality made the decision easy!

We bought three rugs from Ritas. After 20 years the rugs still look great - a good investment. Ritas also has great service - they will pick up the rugs for free and wash them for a very reasonable price. This is a family that you can trust - and rugs that last forever and enhance your home.

My girlfriend and I wanted a rug for our living room and one for another room. I measured both rooms before we went. We were greeted at Rita with such friendly advice and expert knowledge of what size and type of rug would work best in each room. We got them home, laid them out, and I can say that they were 100% right on everything! We are so happy with our contemporary looking rugs.

Very accommodating and very honest. They tell you exactly if the rugs are not the best quality. We bought our rugs but didn't like them and they tell us they can refund the money right away. The owner suggested other rugs that could work better for our home and even offered to take the rugs home with us so we can try it for a week or so. Priced right and they tell you right away if price is negotiable or not. Very rare you can find stores like this one. I sure enjoyed talking to Shawn, the owner. will be back here for more. Such an incredible experience over the past few days! I stumbled upon Rita Oriental Rugs on Saturday and popped in just to take a peek. After 30-minutes with Shan, the owner, he was able to help me appropriately choose the size of rug needed, type of rug to work best with my layout (tip: a sectional sofa works best with a repeating design!), and offered fantastic opinions on color/designs/material.

I took home three smaller rugs to test out in my kitchen (I kept two and they are beautiful!). They even provided free rug pads! I'm still deciding between my larger area rug, but the service has been phenomenal. They will deliver a few different ones to test out in the space and help with the placement--and it's all included! Never again will I buy a cheap rug from Overstock or Wayfair!

Sean was just lovely to work with. I checked the website and found a rug I fell in love with. Naturally, I have such great taste that it was WAY out of my price range. No matter, Sean walked over to a different pile of rugs and found one in the same style well within my price range. He seems to have an almost photographic memory of rugs in his shop, very impressive!

The prices can't be beaten and it's clearly a family operation with deep roots here. I will be returning to clean an old Persian rug I own and for any new rugs I might purchase. Thank you!

I've been buying here for nearly 20 years. Just purchased a runner for my entry foyer. As before, both pricing and the availability of rugs from which to choose was terrific. Narrowed my choices to three rugs, took them all home to live with for a couple of days and kept the one we liked the best, returning the others with no problem. Don't waste your time and money shopping anywhere else for oriental rugs. Rita is THE place to go. Both Sean and Dileep were wonderful to work with.

The rug I bought looks perfect! They said that they would hold off on charging my credit card for 3 days and I could just bring it back if I didn't like it. They even offered to let me take several rugs home so I could see which one I liked best. I'll be back to see them since I need a few more rugs. The staff was very welcoming and patient with me and my indecisiveness.

Huge selection. Patient staff. They spread out dozens of carpets for us to narrow it to 5 that we took home to evaluate. At home they respread, stacked, rolled and turned for us to decide. Down to two, they let us take a few more days to choose. When The One was obvious, we bought it at a really nice price. Save yourself some time. Start here. Stay here. You will be happy that you did.

Like they need another five star rating. Shopping anywhere else, especially a chainstore, is stupid when this place exists. Prices range from $200 to over 5000, they worked with my price range (got a rug for 700). They let me take three rugs home to try in my condo and return the other two. They let me keep a rug for three days before I decided it didn't look right in my house and still let me return it.

I could not be happier with my 8x11 area rug and the service provided. They ask where the rug was going in the house and helped me choose one that was right thickness and hardiness for the space.

I was searching online for a rug for months and was really hesitant about not being able to see the quality in person, so decided to stop in here. I had been meaning to stop into Rita's Oriental Rugs for some time now, as I've been in the market for an authentic Persian rug for the past few months. After scouring websites, I decided I was going to have to make an in person decision for such a lofty investment. Sticking to my motto of "buy right the first time, don't be sorry later, " I decided online purchases, while appealing in price, could result in an overpriced knock off Persian rug and I wanted no part of that.

So on my way to dinner in West Lakeview I finally popped into Rita's intending to only browse. That is until I fell in love at first sight with a Bokhara rug, in just the size and color scheme I was seeking - a little bigger than a standard 6x9, with rich burgundy/mahogany hues. Dileep saw my eyes light up, and broke the news to me that it was double the budget I had shared with him.

So we continued on, flipping rug after rug, seeking something I loved just as much, but never quite getting me to that mushy, lovey feeling of the Bokhara. Because Rita's will deliver multiple rugs so their clients can see them in their space, I decided I would pick out three rugs, and in the end I included the Bokhara among those three (oh my word - what was i doing?!?). Dileep and his colleague came last night, complete with three rugs and additional fourth Bokhara in a 5x7 size (I had mentioned needing to replace my kitchen rug as well, and knowing how much I love the Bokhara design, he thought one might work for the kitchen - now that's a salesman if I ever saw one!).

It didn't take long for me to realize the heart wants what the heart wants. And my heart wanted the Bokhara from the moment I laid eyes on it. Dileep helped me roll up my original rug and even helped carry to my storage area outside my back door. As Kristen Wiig said in Bridesmaids - Help me. I'm poor. (but it was worth it) I will definitely be back when I'm ready to pull the trigger on a kitchen rug.

Outstanding service and selection makes this THE place to shop! My wife shopped for weeks online and at multiple local stores. I found Rita rug online and we decided to stop in just to look. We were treated to a helpful envies of hundreds (!) of rugs and then they pulled our top favorites for an in depth look. We found the perfect rug here, but then we're delighted with the price and service follow up. We will definitely be returning for another purchase!
