PLEASE CHANGE YOUR NAME! OUR CLIENTS THINK WE ARE USING YOUR COMPANY NAME TO MONEY LAUNDER. WHENEVER WE FORWARD YOUR EXAM CHARGE BILL THEY THINK WE ARE USING YOUR COMPANY TO CHARGE THEM FAKE EXAM FEE. "PRICE TRANSFER" DOES NOT HELP! CLIENTS WHO ARE ALREADY UPSET WITH EXAM CHARGES CAN EASILY TRANSLATE YOUR NAME IN TO FISHY BUSINESS.

Place is a rip-off, you have no choice so they will over charge you, and make sure you do everything your self because all they are going to tell you is you owe them money. Get ready for an awesome ride. Went to pay my self in person and they took my money but never told me to send a copy of a guarantee of exam charges paper they hand me. Container is still half a day in hold because of that, even if I paid.

Please avoid Price Transfer if you don't want to be ripped off! The only company that does X-rays they rob people by charging 3,000 just to review you goods. They take advantage because if your importing from any country, customs sends the containers to them you are forced to to pay. They will rob you with the prices they charge. Horrible company.

Please avoid Price Transfer if you don't want to be ripped off! My wife and I moved to Costa Rica in Nov. 2015 and were subjected to a $2,000 exam. All they found of interest was one spider crawling on a box. Then we were burglarized 5 times in the first six months, including a 52 TV we bought for our wedding. So we decided to move back to Las Vegas.

We brought the same goods back with us that we left with, minus the stolen items. Nothing extra. Lo and behold, Price charged us another $2,000! Out of over 100 boxes and bags, they opened only three boxes (with the green exam tape), which contained a box of old DVDs, a box of shoes, and a box with movie posters and an electric drill. Long Beach had a terrible reputation as a port of entry, with numerous unnecessary exams. Choose a different port if possible and avoid Price Transfer.

They have redeemed themselves with the handling of my last import. While it took forever and I paid thousands they properly palletized this shipment so that it arrived in one piece. They still refuse to pay the last claim.

Amazing Company? Boooooo! really IS more accurate. My container of household goods and antiques (with over 30 furniture pads) WAS tightly and carefully packed and catalogued with pictures and no contraband, enroute to New Zealand, and got tagged for customs inspection and sent to this company who has a multi million dollar gravy contract to unpack and repack containers to protect the US.

Fair enough in some ways, but I paid dearly for a lousy job, was notified that there was dirty, dusty, wood chipped and broken pieces (thanks.cost me a couple grand to repair 100 year old Irish pine pieces and Rimu chairs on arrival) and I was afraid to complain while my stuff was held under threat of me paying for the processing (NO CONSUMER CHOICES HERE) and US Law on their side.

The poor repacking job left antiques to rub against each other, and too many other issues to mention here.just a sickening feeling when we opened the container. We consider ourselves lucky, but to see a sales employee from this company give it an "Amazing" review is BOGUS! I was too busy with settling here last year to initiate and fight a claim, but would be glad to share my poor experience if this company cares to follow up.

My years of US military service and good American citizenry mattered little in this case, and what I saved by buying a container and shipping myself was lost in the "process". Beware, anyone considering doing the same. (31338-14/Bkg#038CHS1116773)

Price Transfer is an Amazing Company. As a CES they understand that nobody wants to be flagged for an Exam. They will handle your freight with care and their customer service is wonderful. They will work with the Customs officers to get you information in a timely manner. Their website is user friendly and you can track your containers and get "Real Time" status.

Their rates that are approved by Customs are posted on their website so there isnt a shock when you recieve an invoice. If you ever need assistance please call Michalle Cooper directly at (562)310-7179.

Better watch out! They charged Clean Truck Fee for $70. Port Clean Truck fee was sunset as of Dec 31, 2011. Today is Feb, 28 2013. I called and asked about the charge. Latisha 18003977423 ext 3307 said we are trying to off set our expense. Pls kill me if I get this much greedy.

Boooooooo! Everytime my freight invoice has the words "Price Transfer" it always brings a frown to my face. When you import goods from overseas and become the lucky recipient for a US Customs inspection, you would think its a simple matter of the customs agents opening your goods, look around, and tape it back up. What actually happens is that, a designated company (in this case Price Transfer) will be in charge of pulling your goods to their warehouse, get them ready for inspection, and after customs inspects it, everything gets taped back up and cargo brought back to a port.

So what is the typical charge? To pull a truckload 3 miles up the freeway, open the truck, inspect a few boxes, close things up, pull it back three miles, you're looking at $2-3k PER container! REALLY? For a few hours of work? I'm in the wrong business! Fortunately, according to US Customs, the percentage of cargo is fairly low especially if you are a trusted importer/non-violator. So, if you are good and follow the rules on importing, you will not get violated by Price Transfer;).
