Company required several rounds of interviews, totaling near a full 8 hours, which I had to ultimately take a day off of work for. They did not contact me to say I hadn't gotten the job and I only learned that I didn't after seeing the job reposted. They did not respond to my follow-up inquiry and ghosted me. So much bad press is being given to candidates and employees who ghost companies, but this was the opposite.

It was unprofessional and probably speaks volumes as a toxic culture that I could have ended up working for. Piezo's company reviews by employees are very low. Now I can see at least one reason why. It is unprofessional to put someone through nearly 8 hours of different rounds of interviews if they're not the top choice for the position. At this point, it's evident that the company is communicating that there is an intention to hire this person.
