Mermaid Imports & Designs

Went in with a few of my friends just about 10 minutes ago and right from the jump the lady at the front was rude. She was eyeballing and side eyeing my friends and her tone of voice was just horrible. As someone who can receive energy from others I left Mermaid Imports shaking. I have never felt so sick to my stomach leaving somewhere. The lady who was there actually helped me pick out my outfit for my senior photos last time I visited and it was a good experience. But I'm not sure if I will be returning. 10/20/21 @ 1:36pm.

It was our first time in today and let's just say we are super shocked with the amazing selection they have! They are so friendly and outgoing. Definitely will be coming back!

My wife really loves this place. The have a nice selection of unique home decor and jewelry. They tend to always have a little something for everyone. My wife has purchased many items from this place to add some flare to our place or getting gifts for loved ones. The quality of the products are always high and the pricing is fair. I've been inside a few times shopping with the wife.

The customer service is always friendly. Never feel like you're an annoyance to them. The upstairs has bunch of items usually on stellar reduced sale prices. The one thing that is unique to this place is their "suprise bags." My wife usually gets one and has never been disappointed in purchasing one. Like she says, "Sometimes is nice to get a little surprise in the day."

Plan to spend some time browsing! There's so much fun stuff to look at from teensy trinkets to beautiful furniture. Some will make you smile but all will make it worth a trip. Fantastic, friendly sales staff: she helped me find exactly what I wanted and even laughed at my dorky jokes.

Great atmosphere. Powerful incense hit you when you first enter and it's a sensory overload at first but there's plenty of great gifts and items to seek out after you attune your self.

It's definitely interesting inside. Customer service was a little awkward, but it was fun looking around.

This store is my go to calm place. Far eastern decor and trinkets is the best description I can come up with, but is so lacking. After box store shopping I come here to relax.

I always love coming into this shop! The women's who run it are amazing and always have great stories. They carry a large selection of worldly and new age items including insence, tapestries, statues, singing bowls, crystals, jewelry, prayer flags, and more! I definitely suggest stopping by for some fun finds

Drove all the way from Eagle River looking to replace some garnet earrings that I had gotten a few months ago. When I asked the woman at the counter if they had any garnet earrings, she rudely responded that they were around here some where, and that I just had to look. Not only did she not offer to help, but she was just sitting behind the counter doing nothing.

The sad part was that even if they didn't have the earrings, I was going to buy something anyways since I drove all the way out there. But after the way she acted I didn't even want to buy anything from her, and I probably won't even go back after that experience. Sucks because I really liked this store, too.

This is such a great store with imported treasures to discover from all over the world from clothing, hand knit items, incense, collectibles, crystals and stones, scarfs, slippers, jewelry, books and so much more. Great place for gift ideas I wish there was one like that here in Colorado Springs.

Such a fun store to walk through with a wide variety of unique gift ideas or home decorations. The staff is always helpful and nice. I love to go here and browse and it's wonderful to find last minute gift ideas. I found several beautiful art pieces and carvings to decorate my home with. And some fun clothing that I haven't seen anywhere else.

The ultimate place to go for a unique gift and the staff is super friendly. I go in here all the time just to clear my head and look around. Every time I visit, I find something new that eluded me before. Lots of unique hand made import items from all over. Cloths, jewelry, incense, insane tables, wind chimes, antiques, mirrors. So many cool items.

What a fun, fun store! If you like cheap funky jewelery, hippie skirts, incense and Budda statues, then this is a store for you! Downstairs is jammed with clothing and stuff to make life smell, look and feel prettier! Upstairs is the "get-out-your-checkbook" because you HAVE to have it furniture section. They've got some interesting unique and antique items. lots of Asian themed items in particular.

My only caution is that much of their clothing is available for a good deal cheaper at the Dimond Mall in the Himalayan store. Be on the lookout for 10% off coupons for Mermaid too; they are often in the Good Deal magazine and in the paper.

This is one of my favorite places to shop! They always have new and exciting treasures to look at. Everyone has always been super friendly and helpful. The store is truly and explosion of culture and brimming with many fun unique gifts.
