Awful customer service seems like they don't want to sale the doors to us. My husband and I went to the store at Brittmore Rd. 77043 and they show no interest on showing us the product and the finished goods that they offer. It took a lot of time until someone came to ask what we need and even then they demonstrate very little excitement in helping us.

The door handle lock broke and they would not warranty it at all! It cost over $1200 for it and broke within a month of very light use. DO NOT BUY from Glasscraft at all! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all!

We love our GlassCraft door! We have gotten so many compliments - I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a new front door - quality product and quality people.

I must say I am a little taken back with the negative reviews I have just read. We went to the show room last week to look for a new front door. We were met with friendly welcome and introduced to a sales person. They explained the differences between the doors ( wood vs fiberglass ), she also showed some of the doors that were on sale "as is". We picked out a fiberglass door with stained glass insert.

The installer was able to come out that very day and installed it the next day. He did an excellent job and was very meticulous with everything he did. He explained everything and cleaned the door and area when he finished. Even Though the door was "as is, without warranty", I feel confident that it was a good purchase and definitely a positive experience. Five Stars for sure. If you are looking for a door, they this company out.

We moved into a 1938 fixer upper that needs lots of TLC. The door on our home needed to be replaced and a designer referred me to Glasscraft. When I visited their showroom I explained what I was looking for and that I was on a budget. The salesperson, Ila was very helpful in answering my questions (and I had many!) and helping me find a door that I loved within my budget.

Before purchasing the door their installer, Jaime came to our home and measured to make sure that the door frame was built with the proper specifications. Once the frame was built, Jaime installed the door and it's beautiful. Jaime is very meticulous and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. Both of these individuals took great care with my door and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a door.

Have emailed, called and begged for someone to help me buy a door with no luck. I guess they have too much business to help anyone. I wouldn't waste my time. I'm

Worst made doors in Houston. I know this first hand.quality is sub par for the price of door.

I was provided superior customer service. I purchased a barn door mounting kit. I am grateful to be their customer and will purchase from them for my future needs. They are professional and great at problem solving.

I'm an installer, I've been doing this for years. I had to install one of their barn door kits, I've done a lot of them from lots of manufacturers. The supplies instructions WERE FOR A DIFFERENT DOOR. The supplied hard ware is not good enough and the attachment of this 150 pound door IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, period. This is a rip off product, pay more for something that's not going to fall off the wall and maim or kill your child/pet/grandma. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had as a supplier in the window and door industry. I ordered a door in October 2017 and it took until April 2018 for Glasscraft to get the order correct. They shipped the incorrect door 4 (FOUR) times. The incompetence and lack of caring at Glasscraft is unbelievable. Nobody at the company cares one bit.

They claim they have a CRM system that records everything but I had over 30 emails and phone conversations detailing all of my issues and they never had one entry in the system. After the second wrong door I requested multiple times to speak with President but he refused to speak with me and passed me off on some flunky consultant of his. This is the culture the President has created and will undoubtedly lead to the longterm failure of the business.

This company permanently cost me a relationship with a repeat customer. They are a terrible partner and their quality is not good. One thing I could not believe is they assemble their door jambs and header connections with drywall screws which are not designed for exterior doors and do not provide as good of screw retention as a wood or deck type screw.

Their stain finish is a joke and every order, literally 100% of my orders have had quality issues, missing components or packaging damage because they don't take the time to properly package their products. Avoid at all costs.

Door was furnished by Drees Homes, supplied installed by BMC. The wooden front door was warped within the first year. Drees does not warrant this door (guess why). The door claim was given to Drees for the final first year warranty. GlassCraft says because Drees did not give the claim to them within the first year they will do nothing. The GlassCraft door is warped. The builder tried changing to a thicker door gasket but that did not help. Buyer beware!

Super weird. Took over an hour to pick out exactly what I wanted, had it all written up and was ready to order and was instead given a list of 3rd parties that would be able to order it for me? What? I was standing in the showroom, in the factory.wanting to BUY double front doors.and basically told no? Really bizarre situation and will be spending my 5K on another brand.

We purchased a glass craft wrought iron door in 11/16. The cost was about $4000. I It sat in its box for 7 months while construction was done on our house. The doors are installed in the summer 2017. They look beautiful, but we noticed that the iron is rusting at moi take and all the screws. This door is under a large overhang and we have had no moisture in Southern California.

I contacted Southern Front Door company who contacted Glasscraft. The response shocked us. From Glasscraft " they denied the claim as they do not warranty iron products from rust." This is ridiculous. If their painting process of their iron products is so faulty that it rusts in a desert environment in 3 months, something is wrong with their products.

We have iron gates and fencing around our house, outdoors, that gets painted every 5 years and does not rust. I would clearly look elsewhere for your front doors and find a company that will stand behind their products in a reasonable fashion.

Shoddy product, terrible customer service. The wood door I purchased from this company split down the middle months after it was installed. Reached out to the company, never heard back. I had the door repaired and the split has since re-emerged. Contacted the company again to see about replacing with fiberglass and they were unwilling to even entertain my questions. Save yourself the time and aggravation and buy your door from a reputable manufacturer who is interested in having your business.

They would get "zero" stars from me if this rating were possible. We built a custom home and used a GlassCraft entry door. This door has numerous manufacturing defects. We followed their instructions by filing a warranty claim accompanied by photographs of the defects. They were very difficult to deal with and finally denied our claim and their reason for denial was that we damaged the door!

They refused to send a company representative to look at the door. They have no basis for falsely accusing us of doing damage to the door. This is how they treat their customers! This company does not stand by their warranty and has the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Do not purchase one of these doors unless you want problems and no customer service. They do not stand behind their warranty nor their products.

Wanted to update my last review. My wife took the wrouht iron grates off the door to try and fix and paint all the rusted areas. She found out that all the joints that were soldered were done so poorly that there were holes at every joint where moisture could get in the tubes. She has spent an entire day sealing all the holes with black silicone and repainting with rust proof paint.

She also has replaced all of the rusted screws with stainless steel screws which she had to repiaint black. This all after having this door i stalled for 3 or 4 months. If this is something that seems reasonable to you, go ahead and buy these glasscraft doors.

I ordered a $1800 barn door from one of their authorized online retailers and the door was delivered completely damaged. Glasscraft simply strapped the door to a pallet, leaving it exposed to the elements while it travels from Texas to California. I rejected the delivery and Glasscraft attempted to make amend by shipping another door to me. The second time around the door was simply wrapped in one layer of plastic, which again, was damaged on delivery.

You would think Glasscraft would have common sense to package the door more safely!? It has been 2-1/2 months since I place the original order and I simply can't wait so I have decided to cancel my order and buy another door somewhere else. Good luck with your Glasscraft door delivery!

I went with my husband and we were greeted very politely when we came in. However, we wanted a custom door built but the salesperson was not helpful at all. It was like pulling teeth to get an estimate and everything we asked about was a "no". I felt like she wanted us to leave instead of wanting to make a sale.

We bought an "as is" door from their showroom. The door was beautiful. We love the color and decorative ledge. They helped ensure it was installed quickly and efficiently. The saleswoman was friendly and knowledgeable. Installation was a breeze and the door is of high quality. I highly recommend this company and the doors.

"Beautiful front doors at clearance prices." They've got the first part down, but don't bet on "clearance prices." While GlassCraft has a lovely showroom with gorgeous doors, their clearance section isn't too extensive. My husband and I were excited to find 2 front doors we liked, but were disappointed to hear that our first choice was fractions off the size we needed (it was unlabeled, like several of the doors in that section) and our second choice was on hold (.so why is it still on display?).

Service wasn't exactly stellar either. Aside from being understaffed and having to twiddle our thumbs waiting for someone to be available - when we FINALLY got a hold of someone, it was a weird exchange. She asked for our front door measurements, we told her, then she told us our first pick was going to be too small. We're disappointed, and obviously more disappointed when we're told our second choice was unavailable.

We thank her and start to leave. She stops us and asks if we're sure about our measurements (um, yes we are) to which she says she'll check with another salesman to see if those fractions off will really be a big deal. Weird, but okay. 10 minutes pass - and she only confirms that it WILL be an issue, then goes on to tell us we should really re-measure our current front door to make sure the numbers are right.

By this point, we're a bit miffed that she keeps suggesting this when we've ALREADY given her our damn measurements. She walks away, and we take this opportunity to make a beeline for the exit. Crisis averted. I can't speak for the showroom or catalog purchases, but the clearance area is hit-or-miss. Inventory is always changing, some doors aren't labeled or aren't available, and they're sold "AS-IS" - meaning the company can't be held responsible for any delivery or installation damage. Super shady! We ended up doing business with Builders Surplus nearby and I'm glad we did.

I warn you from doing business with this company. I attempted to purchase an as-is door from their showroom today. The door was in near-perfect condition. I requested they install the door. They told me the door was an as-is purchase, which I fully understood. After I told them I expected the door to be delivered in the same condition it was in on the showroom they said they couldn't guarantee it would be delivered in the same condition and the sale would be final.

I wasn't comfortable with this business practice. When I asked to speak with the Manager to discuss further, the salesperson told me they didn't want to do business with me. Be warned and google the reviews on various other consumer review websites.

I recently purchased a door from this company. It was a great experience. I got redirected to Courtney and her customer service was phenomenal. She answered all my questions and helped me with my process. I love my door. Thanks Courtney!

I purchased 8' fiberglass doors from GC early in 2014 and they are still under warranty. One of the doors is leaking at the bottom of the glass panel and the raised trim. GC claims they will respond to your warranty claim within 48 hours. I did not hear anything for over 10 days and called the Houston office, they said, "the resolve would be handled by the company I purchased the doors from." I called that company and was told that GC was sending me 24 of the plugs that cover the screw holes on the inside of the door. What?

I sent photos of the leak and that is clearly not the issue. The distributor has been trying to contact the GC rep in our area without any response and talking directly to the office warranty people at GC in Houston is useless they claim the warranty issue has been resolved. The door is not caulked around the glass on the door that has leaked and it is spotty around the other door.

How did these doors get through QC? The distributor has agreed to take care of the repair but, is frustrated and concerned that he will not be reimbursed from GC for the work. Buyer Beware!

We purchase our doors 10 years ago and have loved them ever since. Not only they look beautiful, but also they create a welcoming feel to our home. Thank you for creating such a magnificent set of doors. Regards, Shahla

We remodeled our entire house and wanted to update our 80's front door with the half circle above it. We looked everywhere and prices were double and triple the Glasscraft door, yet is was more in line with the look we wanted and great quality so we don't feel like we sacrificed anything and got a great price. We chose the taller Glasscraft door with a pebble glass. I will try to add a photo. It is beautiful and really updates our home.

Horrible don't bother stopping. The employees lie for each other and orders are delayed. Waited a month for an order that was promised in three days. They would not refund the money or make the situation better!
