Great company to work for and I love my job. I started in customer service almost 18 years ago. Soon I was promoted to Regional Sale Manager working in the field due to hard work. I thank the owners and management for their support in helping me succeed. When I have made mistakes they have been fair. I hope I am around until I am 70. I love my job!

Awful. Avoid at all costs. Terrible place to work, and having seen it from the inside I understand the reviews about bad customer service. They just don't give a damn about anything but making money. They treat their employees like machines, including disciplinary action/refusing to give raises because employees were enjoying music from a BT speaker while they worked. They forced us to log our bathroom breaks like children as well, despite not being able to deliver on their promises to customers. I'm convinced it's run by sociopaths.

Terrible company and service! We placed 2 wholesale holiday orders this year, both containing Halloween and Christmas items. With all of the COVID issues this year, I called in August to check the status and make sure everything was on track for our Halloween products. I was assured all was well. In September I was beginning to see that the products we'd ordered were being sold by other merchants so I again called to verify we would also be getting our products.
I was assured they we'd still be getting our items. As October arrived and progressed, I began to highly doubt we'd get what we ordered. The week of Halloween I received a call from Gersons stating they'd somehow skipped over our order and would we like to cancel our orders as they would not arrive before Halloween. As some of our items were already preordered by customers, I elected to proceed with our orders for a 30% discount offered by Gersons. 2 weeks later, one of our 2 orders shipped, and arrived damaged.
As the first of December arrived, still no second order. I again call Gersons about this order and am told there is no other order, it was canceled. I explain that it was not canceled by me and I have a copy of the discounted purchase order in my hands. After going round and round with both customer service and my account rep, I finally receive a written letter that they do not have my ordered products in stock and I'm SOL.
Now I get to go back to my BEST and HIGHEST grossing customers and attempt to mend the relationship after over promising and completely under delivering. Thanks for nothing, and worse than nothing, my damaged customer relationships, see ya Gersons.

Bought one of their outdoor solar light stakes, which quit working after less than 2 months. They won't talk to customers, have to email. They told me no warranty, have to deal with the retailer, who said it is beyond their return period. This was not cheap either. Decided to check the battery, when I opened the case it was full of water, no gasket or sealing as found in most outdoor products.
My husband noticed the wiring was exposed as well, no covering. The poorest made product I have seen, and I have many outdoor solar lights over the last 20 years. No wonder they don't warrant what they sell because if they did they would be out of business.

Pitiful customer service as Feb. review said. They gave me the same line about being a "wholesaler" but if they put their name on the products, they do have responsibility to consumers not just to blow you off. Consumers do help keep them in business because retailers may not need them now after Covid! Sad.

We didn't know what to expect when going to this warehouse sale. It was easy to find do to the signs leading you to the back of their building. Items were spread out with a lot of repeat inventory so I didn't see the urgency to rush in or crowd the doors like people were. There was a lot of season items and a decent selection. A lot of little items and the big ticket seemed to of had a big ticket price.
Christmas trees were going for a few hundred dollars, just like Walmart or Target. We didn't go for Christmas trees, just an observation. Now, if you were looking to go all out and find some pretty neat unique items for Christmas, then they had some items. A really cool metal train for the yard had a $1500 price tag. Some items were things you may even find in a boutique, but they were far and fe between.
There were also a few items that were cheaper there than advertised on Amazon. We spent about 20 minutes there and walked out empty handed. We had one item that retailed for $8.00 and they were selling it for $2.00. It wasn't worth out time to pull out the debit card for. If you had a small store where you could resales, you could make a few bucks.

Great local company that sells WHOLESALE to large box stores across the United States. A lot of great people work here that I've had the pleasure to meet and work with over the years as one of their CPAs. There is a small clearance sale at times during the year to clear out samples and discontinued items at steeply discounted prices (I recently bought a great looking 9 foot, prelit tree for $88 while the same one was on sale at a department store for $575).
These sales are first-come, first-serve, and are final (no returns) because the point is to clear it all out. As one reviewer mentioned, they did acquire the former Sterling Company, but as that company was not ultimately successful, it would appear their business model of selling a large quantity of items through their warehouse sale was not effective. Hence, Gerson's warehouse sale does not offer a huge amount of merchandise.
I will say they had probably 50+ different trees on display, ornament packs, LED string lights, and lots of other neat decorative items available. Prices are far cheaper than anywhere else, so you may find what you're looking for and save some hundreds.
