ATW field engineers are available at your request to provide screw and barrel wear inspections in your plant at your convenience. If necessary, dimensions will be taken for the future preparation of manufacturer blueprints. Evaluating your present process, we will provide recommendations as to screw performance or modifications necessary, as well as a report of wear properties.
ATW manufactures, designs, rebuilds and modifies feed screws to OEM specifications or customer requirements for all injection, blow molding and extrusion machinery-single or twin parallel / conical. We manufacture to your specifications, optimizing your present design or utilizing our in-house custom design service for maximum efficiency.
ATW offers manufactured single and twin barrels for extrusion, injection and blow molding machinery, with a variety of alloys depending on the wear resistance required by our client's process. Bimetallic barrels are available with a general purpose iron/boron alloy, as well as a nickel/tungsten carbide alloy which provides both abrasion and corrosion wear resistance.
All have been checked out, seals changed, cleaned, painted and inspected where applicable.
